POTD= Picture of The Day (I used to do this on the PS2 forums, thought you guys might enjoy. I would list pictures, tips, and other related information, to equipment in the game. I'll post one atleast every other day.) The thoughest dog in the pack of battle tanks for BF2:MC, the M1A2 Abrams is the US forces Primary 120mm battle tank. This tank can win any toe to toe battle if you get the 1st shot. As with any tank in the game, keep in mind that the bottom rear portion of the tank is the weakest spot. 1 sly player with a Spec Ops kit can easily render this tank, and you, useless. Always watch your rear, and if you engage with another tank, always try to relocate during your reload sequence for a better shot on their rear. NEVER get out of your tank. If your getting C4d, your going to die in the splash damage, same with a rocket, or another tank. You don't want to exit and then let the enemy gain control of your tank and keep it from respawing back into your control.

yeah never leave the tank....
but if i get a shot in i will sometimes leave the tank to finish off the enemy with a rocket because the tank will be reloading.
i figure if u die, u r next to the tank so u and the tank will be destroyed at the same time
thats the idea anyway

I always weave the barrel towards the engineers and the spec-ops to kill them..Sometimes I get out just when they're planting their mines/c4 and I finish 'em off with my weapon..You just gotta get out and shoot 'em quickly before they launch the rocket/C4. Doesn't work every time but sure is worth a try. It's useful but the land mines stay on the same spot, so you gotta drive away carefully.

Another bad place is the rail bridge near Flag 2 on BridgeTooFar.

If we get pushed back to our base (as US of course), it's the best way to sneak out. Everytime I've played BTF lately, it's like people have forgotten you can drive a tank across that bridge. In the early days, it would be land mined all to hell, not anymore. ;D

People still mine it up, but not so often as the Chinese team uses it as a route for their own tanks just to get to the landing pad, auto-repair + spawnkilling. You can get stuck there easily. That and a couple of Chinese engineers firing rockets at you. Or a sniper with a laser target. If you try to get out of the tank, you'll drop in the water. You're easy prey for everyone. It's hard to shoot with your tank from there as the carts & the support beams (whatever they're called) are in your way. The mines aren't so easy to spot either.
