Battlefield 4 is the next game in the Battlefield series, set to release in Fall of 2013. If history repeats itself, it should release sometime in October. It will be powered by DICE's proprietary Frostbite 3 Engine to create their most human, dramatic, and believable game yet. www.ign.com/wikis/battlefield-4

Battlefield 4 is the direct sequel to Battlefield 3, released on October 29, 2013 for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 4. Battlefield 4 will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on their respective launch days (PS4: November 29, 2013, Xbox One: November 22, 2013) Battlefield 4 features 64-player multiplayer matches on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and PC. Xbox 360 and PS3 owners, however, will be limited to only 24 player matches. Battlefield 4 is powered by DICE's proprietary Frostbite 3 Engine and runs at 60 frames-per-second. The Campaign features Chinese antagonists. Battlefield 4 will be the first game in series to include female soldiers.

It’s laggie, the controls are different then BF-3 (which SUCKS), it locks up my PS-3 about once every three or four games, the mics don’t always work, and it’s supposed to be an improvement from BF-3? Very disappointing… Other than that it's a great game, NOT............

It still needs some work, like anything new, they may still need to work out the last minutes bugs, the latest patch has helped the PS-2 locking up thing and the mics, but the sound still takes a few seconds to catch up with the game when you first start up. It’s a learning curve for the gamer and developers…

After an almost 500 Meg download from the Dice, it still locks up my PS3 about once every three or four games. Then I need to restart my PS3, re-logon, restart the game and log into BF4 again. I thought the new download was going to fix it. Sad! Seriously sad …

Another 640meg download to fix the great BF4 and after only three(3)games it still locks up my PS3, Requiring a total reboot of the machine, restarting the game after the PS3 checks for the integrity of the file system and a little report sent to Sony about the era, other than that… sad… Dice and The great Electronic Arts should be ashamed ...

Seriously, logged into the game again this week and to my surprise (not) another 646 megabyte download. This should certainly fix the freezing issue (not). What a disappointment, I still cannot believe it? What is EA doing, how dare they release a game that crashes every third or fourth game I play. I did notice EVERYONE ELSE is still having the same issues. Something else I did notice, someone mention not bringing down a building down on flag B in Operations… seriously they can’t design a game that crashes every two or three games. Would not be so bad if I DID NOT lose all the points I just earned, reset the PS3, have to wait until it sends a report to Sony, then proceeds to check my unit’s hard drive and reset my system. Many others and I paid good hard-earned monies for this game at least Sony could live up to their part of the agreement and FIX THE GAME…

Ok, logged in again last night and surprise another 760 Meg’s upgrade, hey maybe they got it right? Only took 7 to 8 minutes to download, another six minutes to install and away we go. The very first server game I logged into the screen never loads; I can hear the battle sounds, but just a blank screen. Ok, I now need to exit the game, restart the game, and end up going to the same game server that never loaded; maybe it will load this time (NOT). Ok maybe I need to restart the old PS-3, restarted the PS-3 reload the game by this time I’ve spent the first 40 minutes of my game time just trying to load a server game to play… to my surprise I end up trying to load the same server and it never loads, same thing sound but no game screen. Eventually after exiting, reloading and restating the game, I was able to play in another game server and to my surprise; it did not crash my PS-3. Of course, by this time I was worn out just trying to load a game. Perhaps tonight I’ll have better luck, maybe…

No luck at all, the very first game I logged into freezes my PS-3 within 6 minutes of game play, EA and Dice owe me a $49.00 refund.
