Excellent game. Plays almost like BF2. I don't have online access for my 360 to try online portion. But for $5 used, it was a nice substitute for my lack of BF2.
Check it out if you have some time. The offline was pretty fun and lots of cool weapons.
Lots of drones. Fly drone helis, drive drone tanks, etc.
Fun fun!

I've bid 99p for a copy on ebay.
Otherwise it's about 7 or 8 quid on amazon.

no, some one bid about 4 quid. quite a few people bid for it interestingly so it must be popular.
I will still buy one.

yeah i did youtube it - I liked the look of it going rate in the uk seems to be £7, I saw one copy in the shops, I will go down on Monday and get it if it's still there. If not, I'll buy it on amazon or ebay. but but but... part of me thinks that I can't commit the time and effort that I put into BF2 MC into another game. and I don't wanna just play part-time and get pwned all the time. BF2 MC was like a certain time in my life where playing 4 or 5 hours a day for over 4 years made sense. I fucking loved it man... and it took me 2 years to get any good at it I always have funny moments in my head; all the crazy games and the funny conversations with everyone being drunk and stoned, not to mention the tk'ing frenzies with mayo. games where everything you do works out and you feel like a King, and games where you fuck up and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. that's a real rollercoaster. games where you play as a team with all your friends and turn around almost certain defeat into victory, on maps like Black Gold and Missile Crisis. or Honor. and Harbor Edge. Just imagine having a job for 4 years, 5 hours a day, 7 days a week, that involves playing a war game while getting drunk and/or stoned with other people from around the world.. I mean, you're gonna remember that aren't you? is it just me, or is it a pretty cool section of your life worth remembering? and I'm older, what the fuck is it doing to the minds of teenagers and 20 year-olds?! anyway, what it comes down to: ... to start from scratch in a new game, for me, is a Big Effort. Plus the new games all have serious head bob and complicated graphics that do my head in, so even if I tried, it would piss me off

Oh I know the feeling. lol
Just play the offline mode! Thats what (and all) I can do. Mission called King of the Mountain, you get to fly a heli. Some nights I'll just fly around for an hour blowing up everything at my capture points, and even go further back to other capture points, andblow everything up ahead of time, even though the game is screaming at me that I'm out of bounds, but the heli is fast enough to duck in and out of bounds constantly picking off targets. Than I can just land and capture points on foot with no resistance.
Games are sometimes what we make of them. Go exploring!! ;D

Yeah I know, I'm sure if something really grabs my attention I'll get back into it. I just ordered Fuel of War off amazon, will let u know how I go. and just got super fast broadband, it'll be interesting to see what difference that makes. I have always liked to blame my terrible k/d ratio on my snail-paced connection speeds I see BF3 is out in the USA, must arrive here any day now. Junglelove u out there, u get BF3?

I've just been playing it - obviously I didn't read any of the manual, and went straight into online mode It does remind me of BF2 MC - I like the engineer class with the heat seeking rocket launcher. Altho the heli I kept shooting at just kept firing out flares. I noticed that in a tank, I could go to the in-tank view and it handles the same as in BF2 MC, but the jeep I couldn't change the view and it was totally different controls.
