Okay, so here's the dealio: Tell us the worst the thing what has happened to you in BF2:MC. No this isn't a secret plot to raise our post counts... ;D The worst thing for me was getting killed by an enemy land mine.. Yes, but I was in a helicopter. I was going to pick up a friendly in BridgeTooFar near the arty strike but I landed on an enemy land mine. It killed us both.  I'll never land there anymore. Edit: I'm not 100% sure, but does this thread belong in the Vent subforum? Since this is venting..well, kind of. |

Lmfao I guess nobody wants to share their bad moments..or this topic is pointless. lol ive become immune to bad moments, theres been so many. but the other nite on harbors edge i was defending flag 2 up top, had the top of the stairs fully booby trapped. i had a sneak look at my map at the wrong time, and couldnt switch back in time to kill an enemy who appeared right then. we were making a serious comeback, and wouldve won if i'd held the flag a bit longer. that moment cost us the game. the sofa took a few punches after that one. i mean WHY DID I LOOK AT THE MAP  , THERE WAS NO NEED, IT WAS JUST FORCE OF HABIT, I AM SUCH AN IDIOT  |

Hahah, that has happened to me too..Flag 2 HarborEdge..but I wasn't looking at the full map, I was on the third floor. I was aiming at the stairs..then an enemy came by, I didn't want to waste all of those blocks for one enemy.. I switched to SMG, accidentally moved forward, dropped down to the flag pole (damn the ledge was short, I thought you could stay up there but no, if you move, you go over the fucking ledge)..the enemy went in the house.. I was firing to keep him scared, then put a block of C4 in there, pressed R1 and BOOM. I blew myself and another teammate up who was apparently coming upstairs..the enemy asshole was lucky, apparently he got severe damage from the C4 but he still had his health red..I think.. but still, he was able to capture the god damn flag. Anyway, something pretty amazing happened to me in BackStab today. I was trying to capture Flag 2 from the MEC, I was using the MEC 30MM..nobody around..except two choppers firing at Flag 4 and 3, they didn't notice me. A few pals going towards Flag 3, feeling OK..I decided to use the secondary rocket launcher of the 30MM, destroyed one chopper.. the destroyed parts of the chopper fell on the other chopper.. the second chopper got destroyed, the destroyed parts fell on two random MEC dudes. It was beautiful, a few laughs from my pals after the incident. |

WOW, that'll never happen again in a million years. I'm with Lucifer in that I don't pay attention to the bad moments anymore. Usually when I die I just stare at the screen and watch the guy take the flag I was just guarding or kill another 2-5 of my teammates. It really gets me when I get pwned and look at their stats and they have like 5000 points and a 30-40 PPH. BUT... BUT... I've yet to break a controller over this game. I'm on my third headset but first controller. Back in my Mortal Kombat days I went through at least one every couple weeks. I was on probation back then though so I quit the Ganja for 1 1/2 years. Maybe that has something to do with it.  |

I was on probation back then though so I quit the Ganja for 1 1/2 years. Maybe that has something to do with it. i'm on my first controller too, they're sturdy fckers ive been thru a few headsets tho, they just seem to self-combust on my head. cheapest place to buy = ebay weirdly i got a brand new headset for £5 coz i bought socom 2 or 3 bundled together with it. i was charged the going rate for the game, but the headset alone is worth more. bargain. will a ps3 headset work on a ps2? |

The Kill/Death ratio does..I mean, TooMuchFun has like what 1-10 PPH because that guy knows how to BE a sniper and THINK like a sniper. He also knows how to use a 120MM as a great artillery cannon lol..hahaha when he's playing BridgeTooFar on the Chinese side, he always takes the 120MM and drives on top of the hill next to the main base. Damn fucker really keeps those obvious sniper spots under fire..lol. It was priceless when a couple of douchebags said he was a noob, but he responded: ' Atleast I don't spawnrape and rush ' That's philosophy. My PPH is usually around 40-60, I don't spawnrape, or play small CTF servers..or rush for the flag in CTFs..Anyway, I'm not just as fast like the pros..I like tactics. But I really don't have the patience to use the sniper or the 120 like TooMuchFun.. |

my overall K/D is in the negative which annoys me but then i do take crazy risks.
there's those players who have perfected the prone dive glitch thing with the machine gun and can almost be impossible to kill sometimes.
and the snipers who can hit anything moving... there's one in our clan called LSGH-Attack, v good at sniping people out of choppers.
its good to have him on our side tho, esp on Honor, he just protects flag 5 the whole game.
or on specialop, he'll just sit in the tower at flag 6 defending 5 & 6, which is handy.
