Just figured out something

if you turn off the in-game music from the options menu, you'll hear everything much better, such as footsteps and nearby grenades

I've noticed a great difference in my playing when I did this. I do not save it (i have auto save off) since I like to hear the lobby screen music every time I start playing ;D

i think i turned the music off in 2006
