There's a lot of anger being stirred up in the USA right now about the oil spill which is fair enough.

The oil rig was run on BP's behalf by an American company and the vital bit of equipment that failed to seal the leak when the rig blew up was designed, built and installed by an American company. BP itself, following a merger with an American oil company, is 40% American now.

BP pays more tax in the USA than the UK. More Americans work for BP than Brits.

It stopped being called British Petroleum 10 years ago.

It's a British and American company. It's a British AND American problem. Moreover, it's an oil business problem.

So please, don't believe the media and political bullshit. Guess what, Obama has mid-terms coming up.

Look, I'm just sick of the media over-covering this damn oil spill... every channel, it's always the same garbage about oil spills... funny though how about a month ago there were floods right in the middle of the US with dozens of people dead and hundreds (maybe thousands) without homes, and Obama hasn't said a word about it to this day.

It is Totally amazing, we here in the US have 24/7 oil spill cam on every network. (we have not missed a bubble) The libs in this country will beat this to death and use it to promote their agenda of tax & spend and cap & trade, sending America back in to the Dark Age.

Just another talking point for Obamy to add to his world apology tour.
