Top 5 Maps: 1) Backstab - I really can't care if someone calls this the "noob" map. I find it to be conducive to some really great action. 2) SpecialOp - Only when the US has at least Flag 3. If the US has only Flags 1 and 2, and the Chinese have 3, 4, 5, and 6 (thus devolving into a frackin' stupid sniper/mortar fest), I will leave immediately. 3) Honor - Fairly unbalanced with the US having the Little Bird and the Chinese having only an MAV, but still fun. 4) MissileCrisis - This is the only map in which I have to play one side (EU). Assaulting Flag 2 as EU is loads of fun. 5) DeadlyPass - One of the most balanced maps. The biggest reason I like it? There's lots of dust. You won't find many damned snipers in this map, uh-uh. MissileCrisis is hell if the Chinese team is packed with Asian players or good snipers..or glitchers..They tend to use the jeep c4 glitch to get under the building to block the EUs movement towards the gate switch. But it's loads of fun to play if you have a good EU team, just drive through the god damn gate and watch out for mines..Ditch the jeep & destroy it at some point so you won't attract any attention in the spectate cams. Sometimes I get lucky and just roll thru with no resistance after me and manage to capture Flag 6 and then take the damn fast 120MM and just take Flag 5. People start to spawn at Flag 4 and my buddies at Flag 2 will take it with less Chinese forces on their ass. I use the weird ventilation tube next to the hill with the rocks to snipe the buggers coming towards Flag 5..The whole server will then be defending Flag 2 and 5. The Chinese 120mms at Flag 5 help a lot.. The problem with the damn Asians is that they plant mines everywhere (I do the same thing on the Chinese team) but they have so damn good net connections..Getting to Flag 2 is hard if the Chinese are wise enough to get a couple of 120s to Flag 2. Honor isn't unbalanced if you just know how to use the GTAM at Flag 3. If you have a good team, just ignore Flag 5 and let two guys take it. An engineer and a sniper there would be nice. Drive straight to Flag 3 with a full jeep, plant mines on the junction at Flag 3, watch for enemies on the hill with the sandbags (USA will take Flag 2 first, then they will continue by boat and foot towards 4 and on foot and by car towards 3. Get a guy on the GTAM for a moment at 3 just in case if the chopper gets close..a sniper should use the big & steep mountains behind Flag 3 to pwn the yanks on the hill. The guys at Flag 5 should just overlook Flag 2 and the boat there. They should also overlook the walkover bridge uniting the shacks at Flag 4 and the small forest next to Flag 2. The rest should use the boat with a full crew (which is used very rarely) at Flag 5 and the other bridge uniting Flag 5 and the beach shacks. The arty strike should be online so watch out and make it quick to use it against them. If there's a sneaky player who likes to use stealth..he should be an engineer and set up shop behind the tents at the USA main base, Flag 1. If the enemy chopper should gain too much damage and return to the chopper repair bay, the engineer could take it out easily. But if the sneaky player is using another kit, such as the sniper kit, he could easily snipe the dude inside the cockpit and just take the fuckin' chopper. You could also camp behind the huge buildings. It has a better view to the repair bay. A sniper could also climb on top of the huge mountain things near Flag 2 to take out enemies at Flag 2 AND the chopper at the same time. Taking the chopper is much more rewarding and better than destroying it. A skilled 30MM driver could drive on top of the hill with the sandbags and just lay down fire on Flag 2..or he could just drive to Flag 1 and stop any enemies from using the jeeps and the chopper. The arched hill with the trees and the tents provide enough cover from any angry engineers. Hmm..you said you leave immediately if the US team only has Flag 2. It's possible to take Flag 6 and 5 easily without being seen. Get a boat from Flag 1, turn right 90 degrees until you are near the insta-death level limit thing, then make a 90 degree turn to the left and just drive ashore. Destroy the boat or just leave it there..odds are somebody is watching the whole map. If you are an engineer, save your mines and rockets. Make your way to the destroyed containers and the destroyed car and just go straight on and climb the slope. You are now heading towards the two grey buildings next to the GTAMs at Flag 6. Sometimes there's an enemy sniper on the tower near Flag 5..but odds are there isn't any IF none of your teammates has tried to get to Flag 5 or 6. Just take Flag 6 but timing the capture is important, if you see a lot of enemy deaths, GTFO of the base, capture it in a few seconds. Use this moment to plant any mines around the flag. If somebody spawns at Flag 5, they're gonna use the FAV there..be ready to fire a rocket. Sometimes the enemy chopper spawns and that will cause people to spawn at Flag 6. You could put a mine in it, destroy it or take the flag. The MD Littlebird doesn't spawn until the chopper is destroyed. Let a skilled pilot use the chopper, and make your way to Flag 5 with a jeep. If there isn't any enemies there yet, that is. A sniper/support dude should get on the tower (there's an ammo box) and just lay down fire or mortars on Flag 5. After you have taken Flag 5, defend it. Some mates should use the FAVs and jeeps to get to Flag 3. Use the slope behind the burning car. The route is used by the Chinese team in the beginning of the match..so that they could take Flag 3. You could also use the road but there are enemies at the walkover. If your team is good, you could use two full boat crews from the main base. Using the boats at Flag 2 just gets you killed and attracts enemy attention. Watch out for the Flag 4 mortar spammers..

Agreed with all of your MissileCrisis points except the ones concerning Chinese/Asian players. I can't really comment on that (no mic, so I can't tell who's Chinese and how good their connection is, etc).
Also in MC, I tend to push up the right path. When the enemy is occupied with teammates streaming in from the left, it's fairly simple to 'chute straight down to the flag. Chances are you'll get killed, but you should be able to neutralize it, and that's what counts most.
Honor: yes, I know there is a GTAM at Flag 3. However, I don't have a mic, so I can't order some fellow to hump it on down to 3 and sit on the Stinger. I don't want to do that myself. The problem for the MAV in Honor is that the map is very restrictive to land vehicles, i.e. narrow roads flanked by tall hills. In any case, I don't think the presence of the Little Bird automatically wins the game for the US. It's just a big advantage for them, albeit one that can be neutralized.
SpecialOp: yes, I have used your strategy multiple times. Problem is, even if I manage to take Flag 5 and/or 6 single-handedly, the rest of my team is too occupied with their damn snipers or mortars. I and maybe a few others get swamped by the Chinese, we loose the flags, and we're back to square one.

But the terrain doesn't really stop you from using the MAV..you can still get to the main base easily on the hills. The terrain is perfect for snipers, especially the big mountains are useful. A mic is a must in this game. Anyway, the Asians have better connections & when they talk (no offence to Asians), it sounds like pointless mic spam. The Asians also have huge clans such as NARQ, SG, TSDF..and if you speak English to them, they'll kick you. They'll kick you if you kill them accidentally. They'll kick you if you take a flag in CTF. They think CTF is DM. They also cause the servers to lag for any non-Asians.

Alright, mate.
Yes, I have been hoping to get a mic for quite some time now. It should become a reality fairly soon (just discovered a Gamestop literally two blocks away from my school). Do you recall how much your mic cost you?
Thanks for the pointers about the Asians. I've seen all of those clans before, but I obviously I never talked to them.

He probably meant the alleys behind Flag 4..you have a nice view at Flag 6, but I suggest you snipe on the rocks BEHIND 6. This will divide the US team into two, the ones who are looking for you, and the ones trying to assault the alleys. The former will turn their sorry backs to the snipers in the alleys..boom. US 120s roll through the hills though, so be careful!!
I find the hills as the best sniping spots on Backstab. The alleys are good if you know how to move & snipe quickly, very effective in CtF.

I mentioned the alleys behind Flag 4, that means the alleys behind Flag 4! The buildings, there wouldn't be alleys there without buildings. And did I say you camp? I camp but I relocate (atleast I try) after 2-4 kills. Sometimes I just throw a smoke grenade somewhere, it distracts them as I crawl my way out of their sights.
