Well guys.
I don't know what's going on with MC, but I have been working on a lil project myself.
I am now running a server out of my home for Battlefield 1942, and the Desert Combat mod (which is what BF2:MC was based off of).
This is a private server, password protected, and also has bots!
Select members from this forum are welcome to join.
There are several steps to take to get it all up and running, but ask Mayo, I can walk you through it.
Yes, Mayo and I played on my server tonight!
And I also just got TeamSpeak setup and going, so, you can plug your Logitech USB headset from your PS2 into your PC and Windows will automatically install it, and we are all able to chat as well!
If you guys are interested in playing, leave a not.
The worst part is downloading the game from me, which took mayo about 6hrs. But the more people who download it, the faster it will be for the next guy and so forth.
Let me know guys, I have all the software, and will help you set it all up.

@kizza oh i know who it is! And it would take 6 hours no matter where you are in the world.

There is no link, because I am privately hosting it, what I would need to do is transfer you the "torrent" file via AIM/MSN even e-mail, and that will start the DL for you.
You also would need to download utorrent to be able to download it.
But I am willing to help you guys no matter what it takes. I've already walked Mayo through the install via online, and my brother in law as well.
This is my own private server I'm hosting on a second computer here at home, so they only people that can play are people using my copy of the game, and the ones I give the connect info to.

And we now only play the Desert Combat mod, which makes it like BF2:MC, only more stuff, and more realistic.

err yeah ok I still play bf2mc but hey voro i'll send u email ah cool i hadnt seen u on recently, maybe we play at diff times. am watching the new mini-series The Pacific....i love watching nips being mowed down by heavy machine guns. the battle scene sounds are just like playing BF2 MC. only there's no re-spawning. |
