Thanks for hanging out at BF2MC Uncensored. This is a forum for anyone who thinks the official EA Games forums are a bit too restrictive, or maybe you're looking for a more relaxed environment. No matter what circumstances brought you here, you are welcome to participate in this forum.
As with any online community, some simple ground rules are necessary for proper board function and keeping the forum and enjoyable atmosphere for members and guests. The rules here are simple, but important. Failure to follow the rules could ultimately result in a temporary or permanent ban. Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the rules or how this board works.
Teh Rules
1. Profanity is allowed. Racial, homophobic, sexist or any other slur intended to demean a person based upon their race, sexual orientation or gender will not be permitted.
Examples:
Allowed:
"Sometimes when I play with players from Japan, they TK all the non-Japanese players and that sucks."
NOT Allowed:
"I hate gooks"
Allowed:
"The other night this guy got on the mic and called me a fag"
NOT Allowed:
"Today I was at the mall and saw these fags holding hands and it was gross!"
2. Please place threads in the appropriate forums. For example, keep clan recruitment or scheduling game sessions in the proper sticky threads and not in, say, the off-topic discussion forum.
3. No spamming. One thread on a particular topic is fine. Copying and pasting the same thread in every sub-forum is spamming. It won't increase your odds of getting a response. In fact, it will most likely piss everyone off and result in a warning.
4. Please do not use the private message system to harass other members.
5. No posting sexually explicit images or links. We may have underage members here eventually and having such images on this forum would be considered illegal if accessible by minors.
Depending on how our membership grows, I may consider in the future having a password restricted sub-forum for more mature chatter. Until then, let's keep it PG-13, folks (except you can drop "f" bombs to your heart's content).
6. Be helpful, not hurtful. Joking around amongst friends is okay. Being nasty to a new member or someone new to the game isn't cool. We were all "noobs" once. We didn't stumble into the world of BF2MC knowing about dolphin diving, screen dotting, where the glitches are or how to most effectively call in an arty strike.
7. The system works like this:
~If you receive a warning for breaking a rule (for example, you slip and make some nasty remark about someone based on their race) it will count toward the "three strikes" system. After three warnings within a six month period, your account will be banned. After six months are up, one warning will be removed, assuming you have not had any other slip-ups. After a year, all warnings are removed and the slate is wiped clean.
~Some actions will result in a perma-ban without prior warning. Such actions would include:
a. Propositioning minor members for sexual encounters.
b. Posting about illegal activities such as dealing drugs or committing a crime. In other words, if you're a drug dealer, pimp or habitual thief, don't post your antics here in hopes of gaining some sort of applause, admiration or sympathy.
c. Trying to tamper with the functions of this forum or any member's account through any means.
d. If you are a porn bot, spam bot or otherwise using this forum solely with the intent to sell a product or service.
