Hey, everyone! I'm Jenn. I'm a 28 year old stay-at-home mom who happens to play BF2MC online for the PS2. I've been playing for about two years now under several different names. My most current player profiles are RIPBeaArthur and unknown.Vegan. My husband plays under Jim_USMC and my brother plays under a few different names, mostly Dano_Rulz (I think that's how he spells it) and unknown.EMO.
I'm not the greatest player. I've never used codes, hacks, lag devices or a turbo controller. I don't typically TK or glitch. I couldn't fly a chopper to save my life. I've never cheated to earn a medal (hence why I have never ranked beyond 1st Lt. on any of my profiles). Of course, my most prized medal on my unknown.Vegan profile is my Expert Killing medal, which I earned with piss luck on a ranked game.
I focus mainly on k/d rather than securing flags and racking up points. My brother and husband prefer score over k/d. The husband has a pretty funny k/d (like almost 5k more deaths than kills) whereas my brother is a Captain (legitimately) with a PPH around 85 and a k/d with something like 3,000 more kills than deaths. Of course, he's a young whipper snapper (about to turn 18) and his reflexes and eye sight are better than mine or my husband's.
Since I have an autistic son I usually only get the chance to play later at night after he goes to bed, because my days are really busy with home schooling and cleaning and whatnot. My husband usually plays during the days when he is off work. My brother and I can usually be found in games together shooting the shit and strategizing with each other (because we usually get stuck in full mic games with no one else talking).
I started this forum because I really like the community feel of the EA forums, but dislike the restrictive nature. I mean, come on, it's a forum to discuss a FPS game and yet the word "shoot" is censored. I wanted a similar forum where respectable players could discuss various aspects of the game without having to worry about God Mods censoring their posts.
