I've put in some serious hours on this game, but it's apparent that some players have put in maybe twice or three times as much as me.

These people must've been playing appx. 6 or more hours a day for 3 or 4 years, leaving little time for stuff like work/sleep/interacting with other people.

I reckon I've played, on average, 3 hours a day for 4 years, which is pretty heavy. It's a lot but I work part time and manage to do the normal stuff too lol.

Then I got to thinking about Typhoid who plays a hell of a lot and NEVER talks. He never ever says anything. I often wonder what kind of person he is.. how old, what he does for a living etc. I'm not sure I wanna know.

Then I saw Evo the other day and he is in the top 10 I think in a few categories on the Leaderboards. I emailed him and said wow you put in the hours dude and he never replied. I dunno what that means, maybe he doesn't wanna talk about it. But he seems cool and he has a teenage son who used to play too.

Not sure what my point is - maybe that gaming is very very addictive lol.

If it makes you feel any better man ive played Call of Duty MW2 for just under 9 days so far. Im halfway through my 3rd prestige now hehehe

Yea, I stopped looking at my hour clock years ago.

It’s pretty frightening, if we could have just gotten paid for those hours I would be rich.

i don't know how much time I've got on BF2MC (thanks to the dozens of accounts I had over the years) but I do know that I have about 22 days played on Modern Warfare 2... I have too much free time.

u can add them up if u got the time... on lucifer i'm on appx 1,900 hours so i think ive done appx 4,000 in total on all accounts

EVO has done 6,000+ hours

so anyway i was on party chat with robwithguns (haljackey) telling him my woes about BF2 MC being down for 5 days and counting.

so yeah I may try MAG as the gfx look simple and u can turn off the head bob (i couldnt get used to it on BC2)

but i dont look forward to getting pwned for the first 6 months

On MAG, everybody gets pwned. It's fucking massive! The only way to rack up a lot of kills in one life is to go solo and circle around bomb planting locations OR snipe people from a well concealed spot + the use of claymores. You could also try finding a nice spot behind or above a frequently used enemy route.
